Debra DeVita was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico and moved to Long Island, New York when she was 3 years old. From an early age, Debbie was known as the friend who would always listen and give advice to friends in need. She is extremely passionate about everything she cares about, and loves to call her friends her second family. Debbie moved to Las Vegas when she was 19 with her parents. She attended UNLV for a few years and then proceeded to start working full time in the field of accounting.

Her passion for writing materialized in 2010. As her popularity in using a positive mind to influence the lives of people all over the world through quotes on Twitter grew, Debbie started to realize that some of her tweets were making others smile. In making a significant contribution in positively influencing someone’s day, she realized she wanted to write. Her main goal in life is to be remembered for her smile and her spirit of positivity. Through some ups and down in her life, she’s realized that “the most important things are family, true friends, and a positive nature”

Debbie is currently at work on her first non-fiction book about quotes and positivity.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from the University of Phoenix.
